President’s Letter

HAPPY MARCH, ladies!    A HUGE thanks to Kristy Maitre for her informative talk and entertaining anecdotes on tax law changes of 2009 and 2010.  Kristy’s title is a Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the Internal Revenue Service.  If you are interested in receiving her mass emails regarding changes and updates in tax law, please email her at Kristy.S.Maitre@irs.gov.

THE MARCH MEETING has had a change in location.  We will now be meeting at the Valley West Inn upstairs meeting room at 11:30 am on Tuesday, March 16^th.  Please see the e-vite or website for further details and menu options.

TO ALL MEMBERS, please consider attending the regional conferences in Milwaukee and Wichita this summer.  The Milwaukee conference will instate Gina Slack for her new board position.

YOUR SUGGESTIONS are sought after as we continue to increase our membership.  Please contact any of the board members with any thoughts or comments about our member meetings, membership, locations… ANYTHING!   The board members aim to serve the chapter, and we would like to hear your thoughts!

My goal for our chapter is to make this a productive year and grow the chapter.  This organization is a wonderful means to develop long-lasting professional relationships and personal friendships, and I hope that we can continue to share this with the ladies in the Des Moines area!
