What do you like to do in your free time?
If the weather ever shapes up, I love to run outside and to give my miniature pincher exercise. Also like to hang with my friends and family, Friday Flamingo Parties with my neighbors, cheering for the Hawkeyes, go out to eat, enjoy a glass of wine, lie in the sun, play board games/cards, golf when I have a chance, and I can’t forget watching my son grow up so fast.
Where is your favorite vacation spot? Why?
So far my favorite vacation spot is the Bahamas. This is where I had my honeymoon and loved the clear, blue ocean and met wonderful people. Hope to take a few big trips next fall and winter J
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
This is a poem one of my girlfriends gave me and is inspiring:
Believe in the rewards that await you,
believe in the harvest in store.
Believe that the spring will awaken,
believe you'll be sowing once more.
Believe that there's a tomorrow,
where no one cares if you can't dance.
Believe in the future's promise,
each day brings a new chance.
Believe you can make your goals happen,
they're just dreams with deadlines attached.
Believe you have the power,
believe you're more than a match.
Believe in a shared existence,
you're not alone this is true.
Believe right now there is someone,
who believes in the wonder of you.
What experience has changed your outlook on life?
I lost my father suddenly five years ago from a heart attack. I make sure to live my days to the fullest and tell my friends and family how much I love and appreciate them J You never know what life will bring the next day so don’t live with regret!
